Flowered Dress
This dress was my go-to look for Easter and automatically looked so good against my tan. It fit true to size and had these two modest slits that allowed for a freer range of motion in the dress. I layered a neon yellow bandeau with it for added Spring time contrast and ran around barefoot because it felt good, ha! Originally for Easter I wore this with blush heels but I can even wear it with flat sandals and it still be deemed cute and not dragging the ground.

I wear a size medium and I'm 5'8 1/2.

Handwash Only

Black and White Strappy Sundress
The detailing alone on this dress had me obsessed. All I've got to say as a warning is that you better have a small chest for this dress because while the front covers enough of mine, I'm not sure how much more it would cover. I paired this with a pink lacey bra for an added detail and to cover part of the back since I was so exposed and wore a sticky bra under that without straps for added support for you ladies concerning with looking flat or having zero support. It tied comfortably and the back loosens to extend for those of all sizes. I did have to pull this over my head since my hips were too wide for the opening but that is to be expected when the dress is under $20.

My straw hat is from Target and they sell similar ones Here. Size Medium.

Chest size: smaller than small. Just trust me when I say there isn't much room for error here.

Handwash only.

White Peasant Cropped Top
THIS TOP. Obsessed. I tucked it into these Gap Paperbag shorts and I had to wear a white tank since it was see-through but something about this seemed so effortless and airy and kind of like a modern day lady pirate and I dig it. The sleeves are flowy and cinch in at the wrists. The tie on the collar can be untied and left loose if you like the open summer look. I paired this with these tan Gap shorts with another belt tie and Tan Cork Wedges. I recently got these shoes to be comfortable enough to wear to work and still keep on my feet all day.

Shoe size 8. Runs true to size.

Shirt size is a medium and fits well. Handwash only.

Blush Tank
One thing that I challenged myself with when buying new things is to get something that actually looked new. Like something I didn't have or already own at some point. I got this plain chiffon top with a tiny button detail in the back and thin straps cutting into a racerback cut. I paired it with my favorite Hudson jeans I snagged at Nordstrom Rack and blush pointed toed flats with a gold heel detailing and gold ends to the ties. I paired my favorite rose gold accessories from the watch from Cluse and my necklace from the fall collection from Kendra Scott. The shirt is very thin and shows color through so a nude bra or tank top is required unless ghost shirts are your thing.Size medium, fits a little snug in the chest area and opens a little more underneath the arm that I would like, exposing the edge of my bra or whatever I wore underneath.

Handwash only.

Flats are from Off Broadway Shoes located in my local mall.

Hudson jeans I found much cheaper at Nordstrom Rack.

Sheer Floral Print Top
I've got this weird thing for sheer shirts and this floral pattern was too cute to pass up. I paired it with these torn, high waisted jean shorts from Nordstrom Rack and blush heels from Topshop when I visited New York last. I wore my Kendra Scott Rose gold necklace with it and a white tank and tucked them into my shorts. These have a similar sleeve like the glam pirate top but this neckline comes up much higher and stops right below the collarbone. Overall, it's very comfy and cheap.

Size medium, doesn't stretch and has a tiny button to lock it in place in the neckline in the back.

Handwash only.

All in all I got some super cute items for dirt cheap. I think all of these finds from Forever 21 totaled less than $80 and that's five different items. Nothing was over $25 and only one item was above $20! Go check out their selection even though you have to wade through the website's massive catalogue. These are cheaper materials as well so I cannot imagine them holding up through many seasons but for a fun springtime change I think I got my money's worth.

All of these pictures were taken by my good friend over at words_of_grace_b on Instagram. You can check out her blog too from her page. I'm obsessed with how these pictures came out!
